It can be used on old and new plasters, reinforced concrete, plasterboard, old and consistent paints. 
Novaprimer is the ideal base coat for the application of all Novacolor product range. 

Nature of the binder: acrylic and styrene copolymer in dispersion.

Novaprimer ensures high penetration and sealing power and permits to have a uniform absorption rate.
It regulates the absorption of the substrate.

50-80% with water.

Mix the product properly before the tinting phase and the application cycle.
Do not apply on wet/fresh substrates, wait a maturation time, generally of four weeks.

The substrate must be perfectly dry, dust-free, with no humidity and salt stains. In most case, a light brushing off is enough. 
Highly deteriorated synthetic paintings must be removed with paint remover. 
The best result can be achieved when Novaprimer is applied diluted with a brush, proceeding from the top to the bottom of the surface. 
It is also possible to apply Novaprimer using a roller or a spray-gun. 
Drying time: 24 hours depending on the substrate, its absorption rate and air conditions. 

When applying, the material must be protected from the cold and from big heat changes during the entire application process. 
Do not apply at air, background and product temperatures below +5°C or above +35 °C. 
Ambient humidity must be <75%; background humidity must be <10%.
In order not to compromise the optimal appearance and performance of the product, we recommend applying it in the above-mentioned ambient conditions.
It is advisable to complete each work with materials from the same batch of production. When using multiple batches, it is recommended to remix the various products together to avoid slight differences in shading.

The correct use of equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) is recommended during all phases of background and product preparation, and of application).

With water, immediately after use.

8-10 m2/l, per coat, depending on the kind of substrate and its absorption rate. It is advisable to determine the real yield with a preliminary test on the specific substrate.

The product should preferably be used within 2 years if stored in its original, unopened containers and under suitable temperature conditions.
