marmur fine
Lime based plaster for interior and exterior
N935
marmur fine - v.2025-07-02
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Marmur Fine is a lime-based finishing plaster coat, made of well-seasoned hydrated putty, fine marbles and rheological modifiers, which guarantee a perfect workability of the product.
With its formulation, Marmur Fine permits to achieve “cloudy” esthetic effects, with soft and vibrant shades.
Thanks to its versatility, Marmur Fine permits to get several textures, depending on the application techniques.
The product complies with the Indoor Air Comfort Gold specification of Eurofins.

USES
USES

Marmur Fine is indicated for the decoration of prestigious exterior and interior surfaces. Natural lime plasters represent Marmur Fine’s most suitable substrate, since the product reacts chemically with them, building up a unique “body” able to preserve the lime coating for a longer period of time.
Marmur Fine is indicated for:
- Plaster and cement mortars
- Pre-mixed renderings
- Pre-existing lime and gypsum plasters
- Moisture-permeable plasters
- Gypsum plaster-boards
- Mineral conglomerates of various kinds, as long as they are absorbent.
It is not recommended for use on outdoor concrete surfaces since, due to its high permeability, the product has no protective powers against the aggression of carbon dioxides, the leading cause of concrete degradation.

WARNINGS
WARNINGS

Mix the product properly before the tinting phase and the application cycle.
Do not apply on wet/fresh substrates, wait a maturation time, generally of four weeks.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

(T=25°C, UR=60%)
The substrate must be perfectly dry, dust-free, with no humidity and salt stains. Resurface or consolidate the surface with specific products if necessary.
In case of mould, treat the surface with suitable specific products. Brush or remove any efflorescence and old peeling paint. Higher layers of old lime-based paint and tempera paint must be
removed. Brush out dust, smog or other deposits before the application.
In case of non-homogeneous or chalky surfaces, apply one layer of Decofix (micronized wall sealer) diluted, with a brush.
Over dry and compact substrates, apply the fixative Acricolor or Novaprimer.
On dry surface, apply one smooth coat of Marmur Fine with a stainless steel trowel. Before it dries out, work the surface with a wet sponge trowel. Remove any imperfections and over-product.
Wait the complete drying of the surface, then apply a second coat of Marmur Fine with stainless steel trowel and, before it completely dries, finish off the surface with a wet sponge trowel, obtaining a compact and rough surface at the same time.
In order to obtain a smooth effect, it is necessary, before it dries completely, to go over the surface with a stainless steel gloss spatula for stucco.
In order to obtain a compact effect, before it dries completely, it is necessary to go over the surface with a stainless steel spatula, taking care to manage small portions of material on it.
To improve the visual and tactile effect, it is recommended to keep the surface wet, compacting it until obtaining the desired effect.
Different textures can be reach using specific tools and/or applying, after at least 24 hours, one or more coats of Antiche Patine, siloxane colour wash, properly diluted.

PROTECTION OF THE SURFACES
PROTECTION OF THE SURFACES

It is possible to protect and decorate the interior surface by applying Cera Wax or Cera Wax Plus. Please refer to the technical data sheet.
Greater protection for interiors and exteriors can be provided by applying Acquadivetro. Please refer to the technical data sheet.

RECOMMENDATION
RECOMMENDATION

The material must be protected from freezing and thermal shocks throughout the entire application process.
Do not apply when air, substrate and product temperatures are below +10°C or above +35°C, or in direct sunlight, or on hot surfaces (even if already in the shade).
Environment humidity must be 75%; the humidity of the substrate must be 10%.
Avoid applications under direct sunlight.
Exposure to atmospheric agents, rain, high humidity, low ambient temperature, of surfaces treated with mineral finishes, can generate phenomena of whitening of the finish during the carbonation process. This phenomenon could be irreversible.
It is recommended to finish the job using the same production batch. If different batches are used, we advise mixing the different batches together in order to avoid slight colour differences.
The use of Marmur Fine in exteriors implies the choose of light colors and the use of colorants resistant in exteriors.
After application, outdoor surfaces must be protected from rain and humidity until the product is completely dry, which normally occurs after approximately 48/72 hours.
For correct use of the materials mentioned, dilution and application, read the relative technical data sheet carefully.
Correct use of individual protection equipment (PPE) is recommended during all preparation of the substrate, products and application of the same.
