PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Cera Wax is a decorative interior wax in an aqueous dispersion, formulated for treating mineral decorative finishes in indoor environments. Available in three subtly pearlescent shades (Gold, Silver, and Bronze) as well as in the neutral PLUS version, Cera Wax gives surfaces light water repellency, enhancing the visual appearance of the applied decorative finish.
Cera Wax is easy to apply, quick-drying, and suitable for both manual and mechanical polishing.

Cera Wax PLUS is a ready-to-use product and should not be diluted.

WARNINGS
WARNINGS
Mix the material properly before applying. Do not apply onto fresh substrates: wait for the applied coatings to dry completely.
To clean surfaces decorated with Cera Wax, use a dry fabric cloth.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
(Referred to environmental conditions T=25° C, RH=60%)
The surface must be dry and free of dust and salt stains from moisture.

Wait at least 8 hours to make fine trowel finishes and at least 24 hours for multi-layer decorations with a dry film thickness of more than 2 mm.

On surfaces treated with the interior decorative products from the Minerals range, apply a coat of Cera Wax with a microfibre cloth or glove, working the surface with circular movements.
Wait a few minutes and wipe the surface with a clean glove or cloth, removing any material build-ups.

Cera Wax can also be applied with a sponge-pad, taking care to avoid excess and build-up. We recommend always using a cloth to wipe the surface while still fresh to remove excess wax.

For greater protection, or a more uniform appearance, a second coat of Cera Wax PLUS can be applied after at least 2 hours, following the procedure described above. Wait a few minutes and wipe the surface with a glove or microfibre cloth without product, removing any build-up of material.

RECOMMENDATION
RECOMMENDATION
When applying, the material must be protected from the cold and from big heat changes during the entire application process.
Do not apply at air, substrate, and product temperatures that are below 5° C or above 35° C, nor in direct sunlight, nor on overheated surfaces (even if already in the shade). Ambient humidity must be < 75%; background  humidity must be < 10%.
It is good practice to always use material from the same batch of manufacture. When using different production batches, we recommend mixing them together to avoid slight differences in tone. For works where, due to non-controllable events, you must continue with a new batch. Do not try to join colours on the same surface and use any breaks in surface-continuity (mouldings, edges, etc.) to create the join.
Please read the relevant technical data sheet carefully for correct materials-use, dilution and laying/application.
We always recommend correctly using proper equipment, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) during all preparation and applications stages of substrates and products.

CLEANING OF TOOLS
CLEANING OF TOOLS
With water, immediately after their use.

YIELD
YIELD
7-20 m2/l, per single layer, depending on the type of substrate and its absorption. We recommend checking actual yield by making a preliminary test on the specific background.
